Excellent service with white-glove treatment. I would highly recommend this company to anyone struggling through the bureaucratic document legalizations required by the Spanish consulates.

Excellent and efficient. Retired to Spain and needed vital structural documents processed quickly. Had contacted other firms but these specialists were by far the most knowledgeable.

Strategic Advantages

Spain Legalization Framework

An Apostille is a specialized certification issued by an official authority (such as a US Secretary of State or the federal government) that is permanently attached to your original US public document. It verifies the signature's authenticity so that Spanish authorities, consulates, and legal frameworks recognize it as immediately legitimate under the international guidelines of the Hague Apostille Convention.
In 1961, many countries joined together to create a simplified method of authenticating documents for universal recognition. Members of this conference, referred to as the Hague Convention, adopted a document referred to as an Apostille that would be recognized by all member countries (including Spain).

There are two categories of destination countries: those that are part of the Hague Convention and those that are not. Apostilles can exclusively be obtained for countries within the Hague Convention. If your intended destination falls outside the scope of the Convention, it is categorized as a non-Hague Country. In such cases, authentication is required through the U.S. Department of State/Department of Justice in Washington D.C. and/or full embassy legalization for that specific country.
We process a comprehensive spectrum of both personal certificates and legal corporate entities verified for cross-border compliance with Spain. Below is the full structural matrix of accepted documentation:

Yes. Spanish immigration rules specify that all foreign public records must be accompanied by a certified, sworn translation (Traducción Jurada) completed by a translator explicitly registered with Spain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC). Crucially, the translation can only be executed *after* the US Apostille is issued, as the wording of the apostille itself must be translated into Spanish.
Federal documents, such as an FBI background record or a federal tax document, are issued by the US government and can exclusively be apostilled by the U.S. Department of State's Office of Authentications in Washington, D.C. Local state authorities (like individual Secretaries of State) only have the jurisdiction to authenticate items generated within their specific state lines, such as local birth certificates or notarized power of attorney forms.
